What is Fist City?
FIST CITY is a Savannah, Georgia based art collective comprised of Clayton Walsh, Lomaho Kretzmann and Gordon Rabut. Their distinct drawing styles are unified by their shared dedication to “lowbrow” subject matter and a defiant affinity for analog technology. The subjects of their graphic illustrations and comics are tough guys and weirdos, outsiders and underdogs. Often violent or explicit, but not without a sense of humor, their aesthetic could be described as a middle finger held high in the face of the digital age. The collective’s pièce de résistance is The Savannah Fist, a limited-run serial zine featuring their work as well as guest drawings and writing from other artists.
